- Install the maker's app (Meta AI, Alexa, or Even) before opening the case.
- Allow Bluetooth, nearby-device and notification permissions when asked — the glasses read notifications through the app, and Android's per-app notification access must be granted explicitly.
- Pair from inside the app, not from the phone's Bluetooth menu; Meta's glasses need the app to finish setup.
- Turn on Wi-Fi import in the app so photos transfer over Wi-Fi 6 rather than Bluetooth.
The one Android-only feature worth knowing
